Gen X Jet
Regular Season records: Joe Walton: 53-57-1 .482 winning percentage Wrecks currently: 44-47 .484 winning percentage As a point of reference, Wrecks is already worse than Hermy (39-41 .487 winning percentage) Discuss. Larz
true but his playoff records will probably stand for 25 years. not saying that because he is my hero, or that the jets should keep him, just saying that the track record of jets coaches is really sad

Herman Edwards was a far, far better HC than Rex has been. At least with Herm you didn't have the absurd decisions like Sparano, Tebow, putting Sanchez into a meaningless preseason game and getting him hurt. The draft picks were rational and fit the team where Rex smashes square pegs like Coples - a 4-3 end - into round holes as an OLB. Rex sucks and is only marginally better than Rich Kotite. slats
I can't wait until the Jets hire an offense-minded coach so we can all relive the glory years of Joe Walton.

Nah let's just stick with the ground and pound leather helmet football of Rex in a league that is practically begging you to pass the football. The game has changed, Rex has been left behind. Kleckineau
No comparison. Rex never wore his cap backwards and picked his nose either.

Gastineau Lives
Yup and Mark Sanchez/Geno Smith are every bit as good as Ken O'Brien. Stephen Hill, Clyde Gates, Dustin Keller > Al Toon, Wesley Walker and Mickey Shuler while we're on it.

He was a favor to Tags from his NFL minority coaching program. He was left 2 QB's Vinny and Chad one of the 4 1st rd picks from 2000 the other's being Abe,Ellis and Becht.. Rex never has a decent QB granted he's not a complete HC that seems to only care about the defense but if Favre came back in 09 the Jets would have made the Bowl.. Tanny screwed up big time by giving him his release..
