So how will the Patriots cheat this week?

While I hate the Patriots org more than any other, 2nd Miami, f*ck the Bills they'll be irrelevant in 2 years, the Steelers are right up there man! Tomlin is a f*cking thug azzhole! He runs around like he's a player, making faces, and his stupid azz tough talk. They should have let Vontez & Porter go toe to toe on the 50. Has Tomlin ever won a game without Big Ben?

That organization & all of their bandwagon fans make me ill! With their stupid terrible towels & their dirty defense (If Shazier isn't fined I'd be shocked, should be suspended vs Broncos if the NFL is serious about protecting players!). Why isn't Porter being disciplined? Steelers did everything in their power to usurp the authority that was emphasized before the game to the Bengals players. Not calling an obvious penalty on Shazier opened the floodgates of emotions on the Bengals and they had a right to be furious! Everything that happened at the end of that game doesn't happen if the refs DO THEIR JOB! Not only did Bernard get knocked out of the game, that f*cker Tomlin with a Cheshire Cat grin (knowing Shazier got away with spearing) challenges & wins the challenge & the Bengals also lose the ball! If that happened to the Jets our fans would have LOST THEIR MINDS, you think a few water bottles sprinkled around was bad?

1. The loss at Denver in snow for one

2. Cold is just cold. Foul is rain, snow, wind. It's probably snowing in Foxboro today as they practice.

3. I'm guessing it's more a disadvantage for Smith. We'll know Saturday.

You do realize KC is as cold or colder than NEs been?  My point is KC is not the Fins or Chargers, arent going into a different environment that will shock them.  I expect them to lose but not because of weather

He led his offense to FORTY FOUR points against Indy, that should be enough to win, right?

his teams are 2-2 in the playoffs w/him, Peyton manning doesn't even have a winning postseason record.  he has led his Os to an average of 30 points per game which includes a last minute game winning drive against high powered NO in a shootout in 2011.

he's not a choker.

Oh okay. (rolleyes)

The only stats that matter are W-L.  Also, 17 of those 44 points were off 3 redzone turnovers by Indy. Gifts.

FACTS are Smith took a 13-3 and 11-5 team to the playoffs and fizzled twice. CHOKED.

Now let's see you spin, dance, wind, and weave this into another monotonous debate based on nothing more than your OPINION and waffle off in a new direction every time you lose.

You do realize it's been colder here in SoCal this winter than in the east coast and I'm well aware of it?

nothing to spin. THIRTY points per game, sorry that's not on the QB. what do you think of peyton if you think a guy leading his O to 30 PPg is a choker?

It's about winning. If you don't win when expectations are high, you choked.

Yes, I think Peyton is a choker and isn't done choking. I hope he gets past NE at least, if needed.

2-2 in 4 postseason games w/o ever playing for a great team and leading his O to 30 PPG.  I have no issues w/ him.

Hit send too quickly on my previous post.  It's a legacy name from 2002.  The team I root for has never been a secret.

Took me some time on the avatar.  I thought it was a young Russ Francis, but he wore #81.  Then a Pats fan friend told me that his brother had a jersey #82 with Beer on the back.  It's Tom Beer, right?

I was bored at work.  I was thankful for an actual topic to discuss instead of the other 50 odd threads speculating on sh*t that will never happen.  I am hugely disappointed you did not have new material.

The irony of this thread is that is reinforces and displays JN insecurities.

Despite your constant wishing it was so, we do not care if it is true.  I wear my Patriots stuff.  Despite all your hoping it is not some scarlet letter.

What's wrong with a Scarlet letter?

That is where I started, but he is a Pats fan.  I don't know Raymond Berry's face and while the Colts were in the AFC East (Bert Jones to Roger Carr - 1,000 yards on 40 catches!), that came after Berry retired.  Could just be a Raymond Berry fan, I guess.  That is why I asked.

Went back to google.  Looks like it is Berry.   Usually you can tell from the uniforms.  I played for a team that wore those old Colts jersey with the shoulder stripes, but in '70 or so the Pats wore the same jersey in red with blue in the middle of the shoulder stripe and the numbers on the sleeve.

So, if you do what's the problem.  I thought you questioned Smiths ability to deal with weather.  The weather in NE has been mild.  KC has been cold

I already answered this. Cold isn't the issue; wind, rain, and ice is. Not sure what your problem is.

I saw the Saturday forecast for icy conditions, wind, and 90% precipitation.  "Rain/ice showers" to be exact.

Now it looks like 100% rain, mild wind, and 40-ish temps.

my problem is this.  Weather in KC is similar enough that it's not going to give KC an excuse.  You questioned it, I answered this and you're asking what the problem is.  Lighten up.

LOL! Take your own advice. Seriously, are you sober? I can't tell.

You do know there's more to weather conditions than just air temperature?

Try following the dialogue.

Ah yes, the old "moral equivalency" thing.  "You know you guys would be doing the same thing as us!"  No, we wouldn't be.  Boston area fans have a special kind of delusion and entitlement that they think their teams can get away with anything and that every other fanbase is exactly the same as them.  No, not even close really.  Your fans have a severe case of cognitive dissonance when really the overriding feeling should be shame for rooting for a team that does what yours has done time and again.  It's cheating.  And you'll never be able to say you're a Patriots fan without dealing with that fact.

You miss forest for the trees.

So I will break it down like you are a two year old.  You know how the Jills, Jets and Phins fans can always unite when the Patriots lose.  That is the way it was back in the 80s.   MMMooookkaaayyyy!

they are going to have the police escort a player high on illegal drugs to the hospital and then go to his house to probably get rid of evidence to avoid any troubles

LOL !!!!

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones, who led the team with 12.5 sacks during the regular season, was hospitalized Sunday for an undisclosed issue after he reportedly visited the Foxborough Police Department, where dispatch records show he was evaluated by five officers.

The Boston Herald reported that Jones showed up at the police department with a "medical emergency" at 7:42 a.m. Sunday, before being transported to Norwood Hospital shortly after 8 a.m. The Herald obtained dispatch records that indicate an officer was sent to Jones' nearby home to "secure the residence."

Chandler Jones led the Patriots with 12.5 sacks during the regular season.

In a statement, the Patriots said, "Chandler Jones was admitted to the hospital on Sunday and released that day. He reported to work on time Monday morning and has participated in all meetings and practices since then."

When initially contacted by the Herald, Foxborough Police Chief Edward T. O'Leary denied that his department and officers had any dealing with Jones, according to the newspaper. Dispatch records obtained by the Herald indicated otherwise.

According to the newspaper, the records also show that a Foxborough officer modified the dispatch record of the emergency call at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday, shortly after the Herald called O'Leary and received a copy of the dispatch call records.

O'Leary later explained to the Herald that medical information was deleted from the record, and he initially said his department and officers had no dealing with Jones because "it was a medical call" and he "didn't look at it as a police-specific call."

Congrats to you but this is how I feel ...

QBs are judged on how they win.  No one is more important to wins and losses than QBs

Sound familiar? One post of yours I definitely agree with. However, you sing a different tune in every thread from a different side of your mouth.

Bottom line, Alex Smith reached the playoffs three times and whiffed three times.

Didn't get to watch the whole game two plays that stood out to me from what I did see 1) the interception really looked like he got both feet down to me in the replay I really don't understand how they reverse the call. 2) Alex Smith scrambled out of bounds looked to me like a definite horsecollar tackle and maybe a late hit to boot. Anyone else see those?
