Did I miss it

Or did our total eff up return specialist fumble another return yesterday?
Granted, he did pick it up himself, and run backwards for a few yards.  I really am not trying to pile on Bowles, but this is just another example of poor leadership.  How is that guy even allowed near special teams after this?

At this point, I rather Marshall than some scrub off the street. Marshall has shown some flashes on offense and has some potential as a returner. Who cares if a muff or a fumble costs us a win? We are better off losing anyway.

We need to see more of Petty/Anderson/Marshall/Peake and less vets that are "old and reliable." I'd bench Revis for Burris at this point for the same reason.

Specials is our worst unit.

Which says something, given our D is amongst the worst and least effective in the NFL, and our O.....well, goes without saying.

You are right. But watching Revwas trail receivers making believe he is trying is much worse for me to watch. His big toothy smile at the end of the game is disgusting.

Dude, I have no answer. I am probably at the lowest point I have been at in many, many years concerning this team. A HC that gets no respect from the players and hired cronies as his CS, smacks of Rich Kotite. As does his smug attitude on the sideline standing there with arms crossed and a little smile across his Pillsbury doughboy face leaves me wondering if he has any clue what is going on? I have confidence in Mike Maccagnan, but I don't think Mac has any input on the actions of the HC who was hired before he was. And what is Woody Johnson going to do about all this? How can a guy that knows as much about football as the lamp post be the guy to solve the problem? The only solution Woody can offer is firing Bowles or giving him one more year, which may be an even BIGGER mistake. Bowles has pulled a Rich Kotite in hiring cronies and buddies over more qualified people and looks on the sideline as if he thinks he will be there forever.

I can excuse the drop. I mean, he drops the ball a lot, so why would one more time make a difference?

But, when he CHOSE to field a line drive punt that drove him backwards and caught it on the fly inside the 10, and tries to return it?

Yeah. That was fvcking magic!

LOL

I like playing the younger guys.

But if someone can't hold on to the ball, he needs the bench.  The ball is the #1 thing, if you drop it, you sit.  Not, "Don't worry, you'll do better next time."  No, you drop it, you sit.
