You absolutely said I was joking at the expense of the victim experience. I wouldn't have pointed out the difference then (and now) in what you were whining about. 

You want me to have been more offensive than I actually was, because it's close to home for you. I get that. Thing is, you're not doing anything constructive to help towards resolving the issue. The issue lies with you. It's not my baggage. I never joked about victims. If you had chosen to play the game, rather than go for immediate character assassination - which IS personal sh*t - then maybe I don't bring it up again. But let's be honest. I pm'd you - said it was close to home. It had nothing to do with the game and there were plenty of insults that were fine. Just me asking you for a favor.

Yes, I said you were like a creep with a bowl of candy in a van. In that thread, you said that the "devastation to the victims" wasn't something I should joke about. I agreed. I would never joke about the victims. I replied I was NOT joking about the victims. Only using the creepy guy metaphor to make a crack. You said I was a dick. You also never said it was you specifically, you just said "you never know who the victims could be". I didn't, honestly, think you were talking about yourself. 

I know how the exchange took place. There's no magical veneer of delusion here, nor am I lying. I like you DPR, I think you're a good guy who clearly has had something horrible happen to him. I didn't bring it back up here out of total maliciousness, I truly thought with how nasty you were being, that it wouldn't be a big deal. Like we could kind of look back and laugh at it, then move on. I was wrong. At first, I couldn't tell if you were being serious with some of your replies here - given how laced with character assassination they were. Because consolidation doesn't necessarily = voting for FOS/scum.

Consolidation = move your vote off of the person you think is scum, and onto an established train. 

The real call to action should be to get everyone to list a top 3, and make a commitment to working towards a lynch - to avoid mislynch. This requires more organization and participation, but I think it's a situation that is less likely to be manipulated by scum as townies scramble on to trains.

The general idea is that mafia would rush the vote because it was going in a direction they wanted it to and they push to keep the momentum in that direction. It's also sketchy to imply that anyone should be in a hurry when you still have a day.
