They didn't draft him third overall just to be a fat guy that just clogs the interior run game.

rotate him in the defensive end position then because he's not big enough to hold down the fort in the middle teams are going to run right up the gut against the Jets all game I feel bad for Mosley the new linebacker that they paid a fortune for.

NJ is aggressive about collecting their taxes. I have a buddy who 2 years before selling his company moved out to avoid 9% tax and now wont so much as enter the state with any digital record of it on the advice of his accountant.

State Departments of Revenue are getting very particular about this stuff and they pursue it aggressively.  They know everyone wants to look like they spend just over 180 days in FL to claim residency and lower taxes.  In cases of large incomes they will even make unannounced visits to homes and look for signs of residency.  During an audit they will request veterinary bills for pets to see in which state they were being cared for, they’ll ask for the names of dentists and primary care physicians, and even check the water bills and compare them monthly to the normal usage for the neighborhood.  In other words, they want to know where you REALLY live your life and they’ll argue in court that’s where your residency lies.

So just for a little fact-checking.  J&J stock was at $126/share a year ago.  Today it's at $130/share.  Not a great YoY gain, but a little north of being 'crushed'.  5 years ago it was $102/share.  And Woody's net worth is estimated at over $4B by Bloomberg so I think he's going to be okay and that's not what's driving this decision.

cherry picking stats the stock was at 150 a month ago. It's lost 20% in like 3 weeks.

as for Woody's net worth it's almost all real estate and the Jets. the team itself is worth 2-3 Bil and he uses it as a piggy bank

He's not liquid and buying the team was the smartest move he ever made

this isn't like Paul Allen RIP worth 18 bil and the NFL is a hobby

the NFL are the Johnson's only business worth a damn

no other sources of their income is rolling in 100 mil plus checks every year (from the tv contract revenue sharing)

the hard truth is 4 bil makes him the poorest owner in the NFL other than Bob Kraft and the city of Green Bay. somewhere around 30th overall according to Forbes
