I don't know much about Beiruts city geography or agricultural practices,  but as a Fire/Post-Blast Investigator,  my first question is what is that much chemical fertilizer doing being stored within a major city? 

 

 

Terrible. Huge, high yield explosion like that within a city....catastrophic.

Military infrastructure embedded within civilian areas.

 It is utilized in some capacity for civil engineering and manufacturing of TNT, but as ****ed up as the Lebanese "Government" is  even they and their agencies should know you don't store unstable explosive materials (or any large quantity HazMat) in Residential/Urban areas. 

 

Not a conspiracy theory or anything, just very suspicious.  Maybe an IED factory went up?
