Rating D-Line (along with O-line) is one of the hardest endeavors to pull out meaningful, single stat statements. They truly operate as a a unit, and sometimes it is the hidden "stats" that are the most meaningful. 

Just not that easy.

This. Differentiating what's considered meaningful pressure vs. not-meaningful "pressure" doesn't have an exact statistical definition ,even though both are tallied as equal accomplishments statistically.

Judging when it's meaningful pressure and not is in a way like judging what's considered obscene: you know it when you see it.

pole vaulting over mouse turds.  the cap is a concern only in how it will impact next season and beyond.  and next season i believe there will be lots of dead money coming off so it isn't so hard to think douglas could restructure some contracts and push their hits further out.

have to figure in that he was the 4th best DL of the starting 4.  While still good, that helped him with match ups.

Hard to complain about cap space when we did plug the two most gaping holes on the roster which were OL and backup Qb

 

Now just sign Hunter Renfrow at league minimum
