nj meadowlands
Mangold probably had the better season, but I think D'Brick will turn out to be the better player.
K2C
D'Brick-10 sacks Mangold-0 sacks I love both players..but it was evident who had the better year.
ECURB
Mangold, no question about it. He alowed ZERO sacks all year, ran an offensive line as a rookie with another rookie and 3 VETS on the line... Mangold should have been in the runnings for ROTY but its a popularity contest soo... TaborJet
Mangold, hands down. he had a lot more to absorb this year. He made us forget that there was a center named Mawae last season. D'Brick needs to accompany Smizzy, Max, and GOB on every McDonald's drive-thru run this offseason. He was too light and he clearly hit the rookie wall. nj meadowlands
I agree, but come on, the sack stat is misleading. Ferguson went up against some of the league's premiere pass rushers from the most important spot on the O-Line. Mangold handled DT's, albeit very well, but they were still DT's

bitonti
i voted Brick cause his job is much harder you can find OCs you can't find franchise LTs both are excellent
mbn007
i voted Brick cause his job is much harder you can find OCs you can't find franchise LTs both are excellent I voted Mangold, but agree that D'Brick had the much tougher road to haul. That said, Mangold did have all the line calls, and as a rookie, that is not that easy a job. Yet, he did fine. IMO, D'Brick will be the better player over time. Jethead
Mangold was better but both were terrific and I think DBrick has tremendous upside.
