BroadwayJoe12
Great game by Vaz so far. It's never been about his stuff, as he's always had that, it was about getting ahead in counts and not falling behind and sort of imploding. Layed down two perfect bunts tonight as well...pretty impressive. And he just went into the clubhouse with a hand or finger problem of sorts??? Possibly blister? Maxman
If Vazquez gets on track like he looked tonight the Yankees are going to be really hard to beat. Hopefully the hand\finger injury isn't too bad. Damn NL rules.
Lil Bit Special
I really feel bad for Yankee fans. I never realized how awful Michael Kay was at broadcasting. Sh!tty radio broadcasters. Sh!tty tv broadcasters. You deserve better than these hacks.
Lil Bit Special
Oh... and for a 2-1 game... one of the most boring games i've seen for a while. I was hoping the Mets would be no-hit so there would be further turmoil in Flushing.

Maxman
The Yankees always find a way to make it interesting. Hopefully they can keep this rally alive here.
Maxman
That Gardner play was as close a play as you will ever see. Ump got the call right. Text hit (weird hit). AROD......

THE ILK
K-rod owns A-Rod, congrats to the Mets. Good series, Yanks left way too many runners on to win that one.
Jetsfan80
This was a nice series for the Mets, but lets face it, this team is just going to be .500 all season long (or worse), and no significant changes are gonna happen. What really needs to happen is for the organization to be completely blown up and start over, beginning with hiring competent training staffs at every level of the organization. RutgersJetFan
Man, big ups to K-Rod, 50 pitches in 2 days is no joke. That was a nail biter at the end but a huge win. P.S. Wouldn't it have been so typical to blow a 6-1 lead that Johan handed them? Like, I don't think there is a Met fan out there that would have been genuinely shocked by it. It's been the story of Johan's career since he came to Queens.
