FYI..the My Content is only working on NEW threads,,,If I go and post in a old thread from awhile back, it doesnt show up in the My Content page..any ideas why Max??

We are not going to move the My Content for the time being. The main reason is, the software is brand new. So we are going to continue to work out the minor bugs and add functionality (arcade etc). But any other changes that involved how the software is set up (hooks etc) -- we are going to hold off.

The focus is going to be on performance and we want to make sure that we don't do any board changes that would slow anything down. It is going to take awhile until we are as comfortable with this as we were with vb.

No the move is simple, just a copy and paste. But with upgrades etc, we don't know the impact. i.e. what gets overwritten\changed back, etc.

War, thanks for the response, but without me looking too much like an idiot, not that youtube in the right hand corner? I click on that and it asks me to open a youtube account. That use to work fine for me with the old forum format, but not this one.

I'm sure. Where I work it's a pretty big security violation to download ANYTHING. We are only allowed to use our "company's" preferred brower. It's kind of a pain in the a$$, but I don't feel like explaining to the IT department that their crappy browser is ruining my JN time. I didn't think it was porno. I just thought the block was amusing.

And there haven't been many complaints. Seems like 80-90% of the feedback is very positive. Not that we have the other issues, quick reply, unread in bold, etc worked out I think most people are happy.

That being said I will get more info on the IE7 problem this weekend...now that the list is smaller it is easier to concentrate...

You used to be able to search just thread titles, and posts by a certain user within a thread.

Click on the magnifying glass next to the search box: http://www.jetnation.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1

You will be able to search in posts only or titles and posts. You can also specify some info about the thread if you want (# of posts). But the vb search probably offered more. Although on the vb forums those guys were always complaining that search was the biggest performance hit on their forums. IPB might be trying to find the middle ground.

As far as NFL only forum most people like have everything in one forum. We are a football forum, I know I like seeing other news from the NFL in one place.
