stoicsentry
Somehow, some way, finding out our odds are as high as 96.6% actually makes me think we WON'T make the playoffs. Wow. LOL.

You do realize the Jets have a 3 game lead over the next playoff conterder with 4 games to go? Hell, the Jets can still easily win the AFCE. Long way still to go. #27TheDominator
I couldn't get through the AFC east without thinking: Daniel Simpson Day... HAS no grade point average. All courses incomplete. Mr. Blutarsky... ZERO POINT ZERO.

Long way still to go. lol....did you see how the jets managed to show up against new england? no way are they winning the afc east unless the pats lose the rest of their games. the jets will make the play-offs and most likely will be one and done. they are a decent team....not superbowl contenders yet though. the defense isn't quite as good as it was last year and the offense isn't ready (read as sanchez isn't ready)
JiFtheOracle
pretty awesome chart http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/playoffodds There is no room for positive threads. The Jets cant possibly win another Football game in their existence because they got beat so bad the other night.

They suck a$$, so what they can clinch a playoff spot in week 12? So what theyre 9-3 and 1 game behind the best record in the NFL? They still lost 45-3? they should just throw in the towel or dwell on it for the rest of the season sitting in the locker room in darkness with the game film playing 24/7. bitonti
people forget that for as bad as the Jets loss was to the Pats, the Pats had a pretty bad loss to Cleveland. It happens. the good news is there's no BCS pollsters to impress and it counts as 1 loss not 2 or 4. If they can get better play from certain key players they can still make waves in 2010. It's all going to be about matchups and the hot hand. Just like last year. The way this team plays after a few extra days off they may be better off without the bye. They are certainly super bowl contenders. The Giants are and they got humiliated by the Titans. The Pats lost to us and Cleveland. The Eagles devastated the Falcons. Nobody team is immune to this. Absolutely...could you imagine if we got beat like that by a team of that caliber instead of possibly the best team in the NFL. This place would be out of control. FWIW - since that beating by Colt McCoy and company...they've been on fire.
LWC611
I am sorry but I am unable to look past Sunday, much less deteremining our chances for the playoffs. One Game at a time people, if we get on a winning streak the rest of this stuff will take care of itself.
