sirlancemehlot
remember when Brandon Lloyd was the future?? now it's Cumberland! Love this kid. Hope he can block. Matt Mulligan...feed him. He can play tackle next year.
TNJet
Cumberland has all the tools. He should get some reps with the first team offense down the road. He could be our Patriot killer, in the redzone.
Morrissey
Good or bad, making proclamations like this after one preseason game is absurd.

Jets Voice of Reason
Cumberland was a definite surprise. He's much bigger than he was at this point last year and still has great hands. If he could keep improving his blocking, he can be a beast for us.
Sperm Edwards
Good or bad, making proclamations like this after one preseason game is absurd. Here you go, bro. It's only $4.99 for the opening bid. http://www.onlineauction.com/index.php?page=auction:view_item&auction_id=992342
Matt39
Reminds me a bit of Jermichael Finley....has the ability to find the soft spot, good hands, not fast but can find YAC. Hopefully he can become a target down the middle of the field for Sanchez.
JiFtheOracle
Good or bad, making proclamations like this after one preseason game is absurd. I'm tempted to put this quote in my sig and keep it there till Cumberland is inducted to the HOF.
bitonti
as good as he was at receiver, that's how bad he was as a blocker. He got the ball carrier or QB killed more than once.

He doesn't have to block if he's going to get real snaps. You can split him like GB does with Finley.

QBs can cancel routes and in an overload blitz a tight end will have to stay in every now and again.

It's not like Keller blocks. And when he leaves after the season we're gonna need someone to step in. Cumberland could do that.
dolphann4life
Kid was definitly tough to bring down, he's a load and he looks to have sure hands.

dolphann4life
No QB controversy yet? Well to have a QB controversy you kind of have to have a QB...so no. On a serious note every Dolfan i know is clamouring for Matt Moore after he threw 2 tds against Atlanta's Practice squad.
hoping4ASuperBowl
Well to have a QB controversy you kind of have to have a QB...so no. Ouch! But Moore did pretty well....he outplayed Henne for whatever that's worth.

#27TheDominator
you really think this is serious? lol i mean if you want I'll run with it, but I'd rather not. Might as well. Somebody has to take <bows head> Cotchery's place. Reminds me a bit of Jermichael Finley....has the ability to find the soft spot, good hands, not fast but can find YAC. Hopefully he can become a target down the middle of the field for Sanchez. He actually is very fast. He ran a 4.45 at his pro day weighing 250 and is generally a sub 4.5 guy. It's not like Keller blocks. And when he leaves after the season we're gonna need someone to step in. Cumberland could do that. That's the problem IMO. Keller and Josh Baker don't block either. You need a big OT type TE. Having 3 h-backs isn't the perfect solution.
