b&bjetsfan
Mike Tannenbaum wasted little time to add safety depth. I've been told Jets will sign Gerald Alexander to replace Leonhard on 53-man roster Gerald Alexander played 2 gms for Dolphins this yr before being waived last month. 30 career starts. Could be part of Jets 3-safety packages Newest Jets safety Gerald Alexander played alongside @KyleWilson for one season at Boise State. https://twitter.com/#!/TheJetsStream

Smashmouth
If Sharper still wants to play and probably is fresh for the stretch run why not sign him for his experience alone

JayKwaz
I like Legree who was signed to practice squad, he was a ballhawk in college. Just needs a little time.
stoicsentry
Poor is too soft a word Let me see if I understand this: 1. Tanny and Rex have done a "worse than poor" job of roster management the past few years 2. Brian Schottenheimer is one of the worst offensive coordinators ever 3. The Jets have one of the worst QB's in the league. Not to mention, he was a rookie and sophomore in his previous two years 4. Teams get fired up to play against the Jets because Rex "talks too much" 5. We can't rush the passer + ?????? = 2 straight playoff appearances, 4 road playoff wins THERE is a formula that makes sense...
GREENBEAN
I would still really like them to bring Sharper in as well.

SenorGato
Legree's not bad...well I mean he probably is, but as a desperation signing they could have done worse...App. State guy IIRC...pretty much a non-Ed Reed Rex Ryan safety...not at allt tall or rangy, but can make a tackle and keep his head in the game. sirlancemehlot
Let me see if I understand this: 1. Tanny and Rex have done a "worse than poor" job of roster management the past few years well...yes. track record bares this out. 2. Brian Schottenheimer is one of the worst offensive coordinators ever not exactly. not worst EVER. just not very good. 3. The Jets have one of the worst QB's in the league. Not to mention, he was a rookie and sophomore in his previous two years one of the most medium. Some are large, some are extra large, Sanchez is extra-medium. Drafted top 5. 4. Teams get fired up to play against the Jets because Rex "talks too much" nope. you made that one up for padding. 5. We can't rush the passer we can rush the passer. It just takes 3 d lineman, two backers and a safety to do it. + ?????? Holmes is not worth 50 mil. = 2 straight playoff appearances, 4 road playoff wins with last year's team and the team from the year before. THERE is a formula that makes sense... Ha! Good Times! good times. Tannenbaum has such a sick sense of humor! Hoooo! Haven't had a laugh like that in a while.
