That is a COACHES decision. The roster belongs to the HC and NO ONE else. The GM will of course, evaluate Rex's decision of keeping Gates or not, but the roster moves are the province of the head buffoon in this case. I just don't understand the rationale that guys on the street, who no other team in the league wants, are going to suddenly change our offense around. Shipley has amassed 250 yards in the last two seasons, Edwards hasn't broken 200 yards in a season since we cut him 3 years ago and Cribbs' knee is garbage. They were actually a lot of fun. I think it would be cool to do again. I'll get right on seeing when Manish Mehta has an hour of free time.
