this part is great:

In case you were wondering, there is a child being murdered off camera. That’s why he’s looking away and smiling. No one, not even Nick Saban, looks more awkward being happy than this man. I’m creeped out just looking at him attempt to smile. I really am. It sends bad vibes all through my house. I remain firmly convinced that, despite the victory* over Seattle, Belichick’s favorite moment from last season was spite-benching Jonas Gray, just to be a cock.

My favorite comment:

Since you asked went to college with a guy from Boston who’s favorite team was wait for it. The Dallas Cowboys. This was during the Aikman-Emmitt-Irvin era. Lost contact over the years but ran into him on Facebook last year and we became FaceBook friends. After last year’s Super Bowl he was posting about “Our Fourth Super Bowl” and “Hate us Cause They Ain’t Us” Crap. Posted three pictures to his time line of him in Cowboys gear in college. Let’s just say we’re no longer “friends.” True Pats fan.

Interesting you posted this and brought this particular comment up.  We have 4 Cheatriots "fans" in the office and they were literally dancing and screaming and yelling "Free Brady" after the decision.  Needless to say, I've been all over them, sending article after article and asking how they could support a team that has such little respect and lack of integrity for the sport they love (one of these guys played college ball).  The response was unanimous "because bro, I'm a die hard and have been for life".  Now, you knowing me, know exactly what I followed that comment up with because its my favorite question to ask "die hard Patriots fans for life, bro".

Who was the coach before Bill Belicheat?  Of the 4 "die hard fans" in my office, none of them knew the answer.  None.  When I told them the answer, they legit, didnt believe me and one insisted it will Bill Parcells.  lmfao.

#Die hard, my whole life, bro.

I've started making up names to test them - "Dude, Bobby McGinty was the best Pats LBer ever before Bruschi." And invariably I'll get a "McGinty was my favorite player growing up. I had his jersey!"

Here's the thing that is worrying me. Sorry for mixed metaphors below.

Let's use the TSA analogy. Does anyone even remotely think that super Batman inspections of your shoes, porn X-ray scanners, metal detectors and all the other "security" crap they do at Airlines make the flights any safer? Well they are like the $59.99 JC Penney home wall safe that has an impressive 1/2" steel face and fancy dial with one of those rugged levers to open the door and a back that is made of tin barely thicker than the aluminum foil from Shop Rite and can be opened with a butter knife. They give the illusion of safety and if someone really really wants to hikack a plane they will find the tin foil backing of the airport to get around all that bluster.

Same with the Patriots. Well, we stopped them from taping, and we left out fake play scripts and well we changed the ball procedure so they cant f---with the balls anymore so they won't cheat right. Nope. They probably have a team of low-life sleazy jagoffs coming up with all new and more devious way to find a way to exploit the tin foil back cover of the NFL rule book.

What is it that makes some of the greatest athletes and coaches so obssessed with winning at any costs that they will resort to cheating even when they do not have to. Clemens was one of the greatest pitchers ever before steroids, Bonds the best player since his uncle or longer and one of the greatest ever before he did them too and let us know what it was like to watch Ruth hit every day, or, on and on...

Belichick and Brady do not need to cheat to be a top team in the NFL. Brady is a Top 2 QB in the NFL, and Belichick is the best head coach. Yet they cheat and lie and scheme and their douchebag entitled  owner thinks they can do anything they want without repercussion which is sadly turning out to be true.

The " Patriot Way" is cheating. Plain and simple.

JiF and Klecko73.... you guys are killing me with this stuff! Hillarious and spot on. I had a guy from Detroit and one from Alaska working for me who claimed to be life long Pats fans and couldn't even name the QB before Brady. The one from Detroit mumbled something like "oh, that was when I was a Lion's fan."

You really have to be a certain type of loser to be a Pat's fan.

Thats crazy man. Did they really have no clue? How do we as Jets fans know the answer to that and not actual Pats fans? I actually ran into someone yesterday who I haven't seen for at least 2 years. He's actually really good at football when we used to play, granted it was unorganized. He reminded me that he's a pats fan saying he can't wait till Thursday. I started to toss around some names and what he thinks of the other teams in the division. He's a pretty knowledgable guy, I'll have to ask him the Pete Carroll question the next time I see him.

Here's a good litmus test for Patriots fandom.  The vast majority of supposed fans will get Bledsoe and then give up after typing "Brady" repeatedly and deciding that the darn thing must be broken.

Dead serious.  They had no clue.  They made me prove it.  The biggest die hard of them all, was positive it was Parcells.

Klacko has seen this question in action.  A few years back we were catching a game at a bar filled with Pats fans...we asked the question to the group when things started getting heated and words were being exchanged.  Again, not a single person knew the answer.
