kevinc855
SO theJets signed Brandon Bostick to the practice squad (You know the guy for the biggest special teams mistake all last year on the onside kick for the packers against the Seahawks). Guess Bobby April decided his special teams unit should be an even bigger laughing stock then it is now. The often confused and bewildered faces of Geno Smith in 2014 have been replaced by Bobby April. Anyone else notice that. Seems like they cut to him alot, OH YEA BECAUSE WE BLOW A BIG PLAY every game.
CrazyCarl40
I'm pretty sure signing a tight end (a position of weakness) to the practice squad has no real bearing on the Jets 53 or special teams. But, continue mindlessly ranting negatively for no reason.

And thinking that wherever he goes that team becomes a laughingstock. And of course taking joy in thinking that somehow Geno and April share a face or looks. Agree 100% but... how did you feel when the Eagles signed buttfumble to that contract? it's ok, we all chuckled a little bit Who missed two field goals in Heinz field?, albeit that was two plays that defined/ended his career All about second chances but there are some plays that are hard to forget; http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/19/brandon-bostick-is-still-haunted-by-onside-kick/ http://mmqb.si.com/2015/02/26/brandon-bostick-nfc-championship-game-onside-kick Best of luck to you Brandon, welcome to the Jets! #27TheDominator
Looking the kid up, he came out more as H-back/WR than TE. He played WR at Newberry. Pretty fast and decent athlete, but a small school kid. Doesn't seem the in-line TE of all your dreams
Jets1958
Was getting death threats in Green Bay. Had to be let go by the Packers. One play ruined his life. http://mmqb.si.com/2015/02/26/brandon-bostick-nfc-championship-game-onside-kick
joewilly12
The guy made a mistake a bad play on an onside kick so what the NFL and fans have forgiven players for a lot more on and off the field. Welcome to the NY Jets Brandon Bostick

Buttfumble is a play that was indicative of a failed career though. He had a hell of a lot more than one bad play on his resume here. Same for Brien Bostick can change his legacy still. CrazyCarl40
He is not a good TE. Look it up smart guy Could be. That's why they signed him to the practice squad and not the active roster. At this time of year you just need healthy bodies. But I'm sure you know that. Right, "smart guy"?

Bostick seems like a good guy, works hard and I can't believe what he has been through, hope he can change his legacy for good, especially in a Jets uniform
jamesr
Look in the thread about our current kicker, Randy Bullock. He's been called a choker and such like because of a short bad stint with Houston earlier. Yet people seem to forget that when we picked up Folk he was coming off of a really bad year in Dallas (10 missed FGs out of 28). Since then he's been excellent for us. Seems the rush to judgement is the only way some people get any exercise these days.
