Imaginary scenario here (obviously) but let's say the Jets had their pick of these 3 coaches for a long term deal (and they would stay for at least 5 years).  Which would you choose?  I guess Harbaugh would be the easy choice as he's the only one who has succeeded in the NFL.  However, Saban has absolutely dominated in college and probably would've turned the Dolphins around had he stayed.  As for Urban Meyer, he's another college coaching legend (he even won big at Bowling Green) and extremely creative offensively (which is a big part of the NFL game these days).

of the three, only harbaugh has had any real success as an nfl coach.  little nicky did okay with the doltfins but it's not like he built a perrenial playoff contender.  harbaugh did.  as for urban meyer, i don't believe he's ever coached the pro game.  it's doubtful he could translate his college success to the pro game.  also harbaugh is still fairly young and could be a coach for a pretty long time.

How about John Harbaugh?  His time is running out in Balt (9 years?).  After next season, he would be an incredible pick up.

Compared to his brother, more pro HC exp, even more competitive, hides the psychosis better.

Baltimore would be crazy not to keep him.

There was a piece yesterday that named him as a potential surprise vacancy.  He made playoffs first 5 years and only once the last four years.

Said after nine years, both coach and team could agree to part.  Also mentioned a lot oh current HCs interested in LA vacancy.
