Who was the Jets 2nd best Defensive Player in 2019?

No doubt Jamal Adams was the Jets best Defensive Player in 2019, but who was 2nd best?

(If we could keep this thread on topic and keep it from devolving into a discussion of how horrible a coach Adam Gase is, how Quinnen Williams is a bust, or how the Johnsons are inbred buffoons, that would be great)

Hewitt led the team in hard hits & bad coverage, gave up a lot of 3rd downs between 7-15 yards from the LOS. 

Played his azz off though & im sure when CJ Mosely comes back GW will find a use for him while CJ is shutting that sh*t down Hewitt was giving up. 

Basham was a nice surprise too. Jets are going to have some great depth at LB, especially if Cashman can get back to 100%. 

I don't think we have standout on the Dline, just a good group of lunchpail guys holding their ground. I'm sure JD is shopping for Edge rushers.

Hewitt or Burgess 

Crazy part is, the answer is Mosley and Williamson.  Could mean good thing next year when all are healthy, though Hewitt and Burgess played well enough to make Williamson expendable.

 I'm going with the Hewitt/ Burgess tandem as well. They both seemed to show up frequently in every game they played.

Yea, great exercise for the Gase haters. Let's list our best offensive players starting with...........Crowder? and ending with Powell? or Montgomery? 

Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson, Mecole Hardman, Travis Kelce, Damien Williams, LeSean McCoy. 

Why don't we flip flop our offensive roster including our 32nd ranked Oline to the Chiefs & let's see if Reid & Mahomes get to the AFCG, or win 7 games. Be fun if we could do this excercise & see how many 9/10 man fronts Gase has to scheme against?
