Some time ago, I believe it was @New York Mick who came up with this idea (if I'm wrong, my apologies!) where he tasked JN to come up with an ideal all-time team.  It came with a catch, however:  You had to choose ONE player/coach from each NFL franchise to make up a 32-man team.  

I figured it would be fun to do the same, but with only ACTIVE players.

The rules:

  1. You must use ONE player/coach, and only one, from each franchise.
  2. Each team must have a Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, plus 29 players.  Your Offensive/Defensive Coordinator can be a current Head Coach.
  3. There is a little bit of flexibility on how many players at each position you use, but there are these restrictions:  Your team must consist of the following:  1 QB, 1-2 RBs, 2-3 WRs, 1-2 TEs, 5 OL, 3-4 Defensive Linemen, 3-4 LBs, 2-3 CBs, 2 Safeties, 1 KR, 1 PR, 1 K, 1 P.  
  4. You'll need to choose between a 3-4 or 4-3 look in your front 7 on defense, and stick with it.  You can have 8 players in your "front 7" but they must fit into a 3-4 or 4-3 look.

  • LG:  Quenton Nelson, Colts
  • C :  Jason Kelce, Eagles
  • RG:  Trai Turner, Chargers
  • RT:  Trent Brown, Raiders
  • DE:  Demarcus Lawrence, Cowboys

Picking Bakhtari for the Packer would have meant not picking Laremy Tunsil at LT which would have meant Deshaun Watson at QB over Mahomes.

When you pick your team and end up with Darnold at QB, then we can have a nice laugh.

118-74 record and in legitimate Super Bowls, he has Belichick beat 1-0. 

He was also blocked from winning 1-2 more by the cheating Patriots themselves.
