Ozzie is the one major exception I can think of at the moment. as a case study it's awesome. relative value of FQB v value of cumulative improvement everywhere else you can build a case that the quest for FQB is just nearly fruitless predictively

If he says "Zach Wilson is done here"....that becomes the story.....and now we have a distraction while this team needs to focus on preparing for Seattle and ultimately our playoff run Actually it would incite a week long party if Saleh said Zach was done here and they'd be suffering hangovers come Sunday. Smart move not to.

Not having one and being great everywhere else is the harder way to do it. Not impossible, but a FQB gives you a shot in every game.

JD learned from him, and is in a similar situation right now. Yea that’s what my post was saying. But it’s a lot harder to hit everywhere else than to land a FQB…

Forget his name, dumped Rosen, dumped his first year HC and lived to hire Kingsbury and draft Murray Thanks, he’s another. He still got it there and was gentle enough for Butterfingers to hold onto it. If anything, it was a plus move. Butterfingers? He has only been thrown to 20 times this season. 18 of those times the ball was caught. 1
WeCantDraftGoodQBs
I like the idea of a MW & Streveler 1-2 punch combination. MW as our starter & Streveler used sporadically on some running plays/short yardage situations to mix things up and make our offense less predictable.
