Sorry, you must be mistaking me for Matt.

He's absurdly wealthy because the Jets paid him several tens of millions of dollars to be our #2 pick and to play QB for three seasons.

Where would I find absurdly wealthy Zach Wilson on this list?

He’s absurdly wealthy because an Uncle is wealthy?  We’re still running this out there as fact?

Have no idea what white knighting means in this context.  But I don’t feel the need to exaggerate, Zach sucked.  So have others

He’s absurdly wealthy because he got paid tens of millions of dollars last 3 years to be the worst bust 1st round qb since Jamarcus Russell and he has $12 million guaranteed coming to him this year because idiots 3 years ago were impressed by him putting up stats against Albuquerque Community College

I had no idea rich people only existed on one list you googled off the internet.

What exactly do you think you’re telling anyone who doesn’t know that’s why he’s wealthy?
We know, it’s the way sports work.  High picks get paid.
Then there’s the “worst bust since” comments you “we're the worst ever” crew throw around with your chests out.  Sorry but others like J Rosen etc were just as bad.  Guess what, most highly drafted QBs bust.

I met Sam. Rookie season.  He was very, very humble and pleasant.  Seemed like a nice kid.  I even bought a jersey... his rookie Jersey.   I never met Zach.  One would think he would/should be the same in public.  Never heard otherwise.  Just the unsubstantiated rumors that he was not liked.

He gone.

Gone, gone, gone.

Why did I open this? Why do I care?

Where oh where is that mod to lock this thread?

We all need serious help.

Lock this one and 3 others will be created in its place, my guy.  Especially when Denver inevitably cuts him.

I’ll never understand why those who want a thread locked that doesn’t need to be locked instead just click on a different thread instead.

Stop talking about football or we’ll shut this place down!

True, true.  It makes no sense.  I be the one to make the click every time, after all.

Josh Rosen didn’t ruin a franchise 3 straight years

Look Zach could take his guaranteed 35 million after this season and not have to work another day in his life. He could quit football in 2025 buy a couple of Whataburgers and just collect checks for his next 50 plus years. But most 25 year olds aren't ready to give up yet on life.

He doesn’t have to give up on life, but he will need to be giving up on football very soon, and it won’t really be up to him.

Sanchez was done with football at age 28 because no one wanted him.  It happens.

This is going to be petty and below-board, but I was googling what Zach’s dad did for a living and stumbled upon this story of Zach’s rough and tumble, working class upbringing:

Gary, (Zach’s grandfather) who spent much of his professional life in Brazil, made some calls to Brazil and found Dilma. Gary picked her up at Salt Lake International on Halloween night 21 years ago. She couldn’t speak English. Dilma became Zach’s beloved nanny. She endeared herself to Zach and to his family. She was family. And then three years later she married.

The day she moved out of the house, Zach stood on the driveway, bawling, “Dilma, don’t go! Dilma, don’t go!” Lisa finally said, “Zach, she married Mario. She’s going to live with him in his house. Would you rather go live with them or stay with Mommy and Daddy?” Zach thought about this a moment and answered, “I think I’ll go with Dilma.”

Everything about the Wilson era was bizarre. He will be out of football once Denver releases him. Can’t see him moving to another city.

Who cares if he was drafted 10th or 2nd?

No one other than troll’s like you obsessed with Zach Wilson

Drafted second overall by the team we all root for. Got infinite chances when  it was clear he didn’t belong in the league. We’ll be talking about Wilson 10 years from now because of how bad he was and how ridiculous the situation was. No one cares about your personal relationship to him.

Ofcourse draft position matters.  We literally passed on a dozen high first round rated players who are either pro bowlers or extremely better for a hot garbage qb

Look I’m sure there’s quarterbacks drafted after the first round who are as bad or worse than your Annointed Phenom but they were taken later in the draft
