Martin and McCareins put on PUP

This is not like the Jets putting them on IR. I think and someone can

check me out that they can come back at any time because training

camp hasn't started yet.

Its like what was said above that if you can't contribute at any point

lets see what others can do.

I hadn't heard that there was a problem with McCariens previously.

The experience of the WR corp is very thin. Maybe there is another

Chrebet waiting in the wings.

If you are placed on the PUP list you can attend meetings and workout but not practice. You can be activated at anytime.

No big deal. There is a thread here about the Pats doing the same with a few players.

I can keep 15 players on my fantasy team.

Should I hold onto Cedric Houston?

My feeling is Houston fits the Antoine Smith/Corey Dillon mold of RB better than anyone on the roster. But he does not fit the Chargers style RB.

Opinions please.

Just how banged up is Martin anyway that he can't practice? I'm only asking because I heard on South Florida radio the other day that Culpepper was cleared to practice by the medical staff and he really tore the **** out of his knee. Now, I realize the QB's don't take any hits in practice, but I don't believe there's any contact at all the first week with anyone...am I right?

Good point, but also realize that a healthy knee is much more important for a RB than it is a QB, even if there is no hitting.
