And just to sum things up here on what I've been told in this thread: A 20+ yard out does not exist. Its never be done before either. A 10 Yard pass is a deep pass Because somebody writes for espn they are automatically an expert and know more about football than those who do not, especially intelligent die hard fans. Chad is better at throwing the out route downfield than Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Carson Palmer. Anyone who runs a website about football knows more about football than those who do not. Playing madden video games and using their playbooks as a source increases your football knowledge. Mind you, most of these points were being shoved in my ear by a person who until recently thought a video of a 5 yard pass to a tight end was an out route and who also said that an out route was not important at all in todays NFL game just a few short weeks ago. Brady, Manning, Brees & Palmer were all "ranked" lower than Chad. That tells me that stats can be very misleading. How are the misleading? Chad is better (in 2006) at throwing the deep out than them. Did you get all that ok, old rogue???? And if you think learning the game of football from a madden video game is possibly a good source to increase your football knowledge, than you likely dont have the capacity in your brain to increase knowledge - of anything, especially football. You dont learn football from video games. And espn is filled with plenty of complete morons who talk out of their a**es and have biased agendas. Especially the ones who never made it to the big leagues and who are simply just stat dorks. It is their opinions you agree with, but their opinions on this subject are not factual. Sorry.
