war ensemble
During the Colts-Bears game, they announced that Chris Simms was being brought into New England for a physical tomorrow for the starting QB job. What do you think?
124
I think Matt Cassell is a better QB right now for New England than Chris Simms, thats what I think. Either way, it doesn't effect us for next Sunday as Simms wouldn't start six days after being signed. He's not, you know, Brett Favre or anybody. aec4
All this does is tell you Brady is NOT playing next week, or for an extended period of time. Will it be the entire season? I dont know but they wouldn't bring in a QB and sign him if it was a 1 week thing

Garb
They need a back-up for Matt Cassell. O'Connell has potential, but he's as green as can be.

I think that is a desperation move though, if you bring him in do you guarantee him the job without seeing him? If that is the case they should have had a veteran backup in camp learning the system. Garb
Simm would be a back-up to Cassell. The dude throws leftie. Moss runs rightie. Forgetabouit! LOL!

Irish Jet
Glad they went after him and not Culpepper, who would have loved to reunite with Moss. Never rated Simms but desperate times call for desperate measures.

PatriotReign37
Vinny might get a call to dust off the leather helmet. If I'm not mistaken he was at camp earlier this year or last.
