kukirojas
Profootballtalk.com reports that free agent Derrick Ward has signed a four-year, $17 million contract with the Bucs. Ward is reportedly guaranteed $6 million and has picked Tampa over offers from Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and the Giants. Ward's market wasn't near what he and agent Drew Rosenhaus had hoped, as they began free agency seeking $34.5 million over six years. This positions Ahmad Bradshaw to be the Giants' No. 2 back, although he'll face some competition from Danny Ware.

124
Imagine if we had drafted a guy like this. Oh wait. All kidding aside, I think Thomas Jones has turned out quite well.

Bleedin Green
Danny Ware was ours too... Apparently the Giants enjoy filling their backup RB spots from our practice squad. Meanwhile the Jets prefer to just not ever have a 3rd RB worthy of receiving a single carry on the active roster.

Either Jehhu Caulcrick will be on the active roster as the 3 / back-up FB or he will sign a veteran or possibly draft someone on Day 2.

Thor99
Or maybe Ian Smart. He ended up in Tampa, too. Ripped off a big gain on his first NFL carry, then disappeared.
