New York Jets Mafia Game Thread

On slats (aka, the Professor from Gilligin's Island), I'd hold off on voting for him because his deductive reasoning could prove valuable again for the team, aka, the Jets. He's a reasoner (made up word) and not a Pied Piper like EY, so he's not a danger.

However, I did notice the difference as JiF noticed. That is a possible sign of newbie scum. We've seen that before. But, again, he's not as much a threat because he is not a manipulator like EY, CTM, and Doggin.

The thing is, I know that each game has its own probability. So if someone is town or scum one game, that has no bearing on what he or she will be next game.

But how many games has Vicious been in? He was in the zombie game and last game. Was he in the first. He's never been scum before, has he? Yes, the roles are supposedly randomly assigned, but I can't be so sure. CTM chose specific roles for people. Would Bleedin do the same? Would Vicious be town 3, or 4 games in a row? It definately can happen, but I'd like to see.

I've tried to apply the same logic to others. To be frank, I'm pissed I haven't really been chosen for mafia throughout all of this. I haven't publically vented about it to avoid sounding like a bitch but yea, it's annoying.

We got a killer deal. Quite frankly I think it's a "forever home" best school district in Oregon (publics) and I can ride my bike to work in 5 mins. Only thing that sucks is it doesn't have a garage... but I'm not really a garage guy.

The only downside to the house is that it is a HORRENDOUS color on the exterior, it's practically pink. I think the previous owner wishes they had been in Florida, it's very tropical.

This is the same guy though that role claimed as cop with at L-5... Throwing tantrums is part of his MO and I'm only now wondering if he knew that's why I was provoking him and gave me what I wanted. And my theorum was foolproof as Norway points out. We don't have much to go on in the first day anyway (unless someone wants to pull an Irish). So my reasoning for Vicious is as good as any.

Well, that certainly makes my head spin. Does Vicious always react in the same way when he's innocent? I'm just very confused about the purpose of voting for oneself. Is the point that he's upset he hasn't been scum yet, so he's joining the scum team by deliberately voting off an innocent (himself)? Or is he really just throwing in the towel on the first day? In which case, why bother playing this game?

I'm also keeping an eye on Slats ... the one who kept blindly listing people's post counts last game, regardless of post content, yet now has one of the lowest post counts in this thread. If it didn't matter to him last game when people said they were working or provided other explanations for not being able to post so frequently, we're now simply supposed to accept that he woke up late today? However, I will hold off on voting for him for a couple more hours because yesterday was his birthday, which in my opinion is a legitimate excuse for not posting as much. I will be suspicious if the lack of posts continues today, though.
