Matt39
Gotta love this guy. For a 5-8 185lbs white guy...the kid can ball. Pretty underated signing for the Jets last year. He seems to make at least one big play every game.

JiFtheOracle
JL is a beast and so is Eric Smith the guys having a helluve preseason. Leonhard is just a gamer. Total overachiever. Smith and ironically Gholston have been 2 good stories on D so far in preseason. If those to come through it will be very welcomed unexpected surprise. T0mShane
I hated the Leonhard signing at first because I thought pairing him with Rhodes gave the Jets the least physically intimidating safeties in the league. After getting a chance to watch him in camp last year, I came away thinking he might be among the top five athletes on the team. He's the type of guy that could go play shortstop or point guard for your team tomorrow and look good doing it.

In addition to all of the above, he could clean your pool, then bang your wife and you'd still buy the guy a beer.

I believe he even won a bunch of dunk contests back in college.

T0mShane
He was toasted by Todd Heap in coverage. Gotta be fair. 1. There aren't three safeties in the league who can cover Todd Heap in man. 2. In fairness, Kerry Rhodes was excellent in that role last year, manning up on TE's. Jetsfan80
2. In fairness, Kerry Rhodes was excellent in that role last year, manning up on TE's. He's still a vagina. Wikipedia says so. Or it did until April 5th. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kerry+Rhodes&diff=354038203&oldid=350881200
New York Mick
JL is a beast and so is Eric Smith the guys having a helluve preseason. The D is going to be fun to watch this year especially those two but O is going to cause a lot of broken TVs.
SenorGato
He got beat alot too...but when you're the Little Engine that Can on the roster that usually gets a pass.
#27TheDominator
It happens. Seam route, perfect catch. He was also late helping Wilson over the middle a time or two, but hey that's okay... he's the heart and soul!

In related news, PSLs are a good investment and the new stadium smells like strawberry shortcake.
NjJets4027
Jim Leonhard is everything that Rex loves in a player. Someone who has no regard for his body and will throw himself in front anything to stop the play. He hits hard and has a solid grasp of the defenesive scheme. He is one of my favorite jets.
