The Jets are a good team, not a great team. The Bears are also a good, not great team. You throw the two against each other and you'll get a close game like this and the Jets can overcome dumb mistakes and coaching with some luck, since their players are just a bit better. When you run into the elite teams, the Jets just get pounded. The playoffs are full of elite teams. Disagree with the end. Only two elite teams in the NFL right now -- New England and Philly. The NFL wishes...the playoffs are where you "earn" the elite tag for a few months...there simply is no elite team in this league...though I do think the Giants are damn close if they could play consistent ball. A team doesn't deserve to lose for 3 minutes of play any more than a team deserves to win off 3 minutes alone. They keep this up much longer though, and I'll agree. Injury looked awful, btw.
