Jets +3, Packers -3

Interesting that the packers are laying 3 at chicago. I know they've looked unstoppable, but I thought the home playoff thing would make this around a pickem. The jets line is right what I expected, for those betting the jets, I'd wait a bit, the line's looking like it could go to +3.5 as you already have to lay extra juice to get the steelers at -3.

Unfortunately I like the Steelers this week .. Just think emotionally we just won our SB ... Was planning on betting GB big again, but nto sure I like laying 3 on the road.. Gotta look more at the matchups..

Normally I'd agree but I think there's something to be said with having this entire team in the same position last season. Throw in guys like Tomlinson and Taylor who are clearly going to view this as their last chance and I think they'll be properly focused. I think yesterday was a big wakeup call for how much playoff experience runs throughout this entire roster.

Also IMO I don't think Pitt looked that great last week. I can see the case for either but money-wise I'm probably going to stay away.

They do like to lose home championship games too.. ;)

It opened at -4 and went down to -3.

Troy P did not look good last week, still looks hurt.

What is the status of Pitt's Off tackles. They both went out last week and they are already down to backups. Although hopefully Flozell is healthy for the game. :D

The Pitt win as just as emotional for them, particularly the way they accomplished it.

This type of emotional letdown can be used in the regular season. Should not be much of a factor in the playoffs.

Yeah I expected this one. Both away teams are better but both fields are awfully tough to play at. I think I'm gonna stay away from both games. I cleaned up on Chicago yesterday though.

Took the spread and the over in both NFC games.

Bears have been winning me some money this year.

Baltimore gave Pitt the game. Pitt is very beatable.

I dunno man, I really think this our year.

Last year I felt we were content to make some noise in the playoffs, just to prove our legitimacy. This year we're in it to win it, anything else will be failure for these guys.

Hope you're right. Will depend a lot on Troy P.. We're facign our first good defense of the playoffs, will be interesting to see how sanchez plays

pinnacle opened at -3 + 104 and have moved to -3 -125... did an actual casino open it at -4?

In today's Post, they have the line "Open" and "Current". Their "Open listed it at -4. Not sure who they get their lines from.

Hard to believe that it moved a whole point from end of game to press time, but it is what they published.

interesting.. i'll have to look into it. It's possible that at -4 someone would place a large bet on the Jets..

I'm with you. The Jets may not win, but it won't be because they're not mentally prepared, or because they already won their Super Bowl. Jets will be ready with a quality gameplan.

Same here. Thought Seattle peaked last week and it wound up really paying off. Now I'm trying to decide whether or not to let it ride on GB. I think Matthews and Co are gonna have a field day against that line and the Pack will win by at least 10.

I dunno bro...I dont touch division rival games, you never know how its going to pan out. Most unpredictable games of the year are played in the division. Hell, Chicago really had nothing to play for last week of the season other than keeping the Pack out and the game was 10-3. Dont think that will happen again.

However, I read something about home dogs recently that makes me like the Bears. Cant quote the stat perfectly, but they've been paying out big.

C'mon man. Its Dom Capers against Jay Cutler. Rodgers against Lovie Smith's defense with the running game coming alive. I can't see Chicago winning this one at all.

I like the Packers. They were my preseason SB pick. Just saying those games are scary to bet on because you never know how they will pan out.

home dogs is my favorite bet in all of sport... in college it's even more prononunced, particularly on espn thursday night games. Win % is insanely high..

Are you ever wrong? And does your hand ever get tired from patting your back? ;)

Rarely wrong and love to let people know it. Or I'm rarely right and feel the need to celebrate when it happens. Not sure really.

I was reading something about this...I think home team in all Football games that were like 7 point dogs, we covering like 84% of the time or something like that. Either way it was staggering.

I HIGHLY doubt it is to that degree.
