Some of you guys are good at this stuff. I've seen positive and negative reactions. Opinions?

Total domination last night against the pens, 6-0 win.

All 4 lines scored 5 on 5 goals. (Kreider ×2 added a shorty, Laf, Filda, Tro, and Carrick with his 1st as a Ranger)

The 3rd line of Chytil, Kakko and Cuylle got a ton of chances and looked really good all night and on both goals. (I hate the offside challenge, it's total bullsh*t)

Rempe was a healthy scratch.

Trouba had a great game and picked up 2 assists.

Shesty did Shesty things as per usual.

Biggest margin of victory on opening night in franchise history, and 1st opening night shutout since Gump Worsely in 1956.

Up next the Utah hockey club.

I personally still think they get fired. Pederson IMO is a better coach than Saleh and Lawrence wasn’t good enough to save his job. I also think this year proved that the Jets under Saleh and Douglas had bigger problems than QB play. 
 

I do think Lawrence probably gets the team to the postseason at least one of the years in 2022 and 2023 when the Jets had a legit upper tier defense.

MJ: I was at the Ryder cup and I rented a house from the owner. He came over to do pictures. He had grandkids and I was meet and greet and thank him for for allowing me to stay in the house and he had a basketball court.  He says, "I want you to shoot one free throw."  I said, "Really?" Now, I already paid for the I already paid for the house.  It's not like he got to see me. So when I stepped up to  shoot the free throw, that's the most nervous I've been in years.

MJ: And reason being is those kids heard the stories from the parents about what I did 30 years ago, right? So their expectation is 30 years prior and I haven't touched the basketball.

MJ: Absolutely.  I got the most gratifying of...that that made my whole week is that I was able to please that kid, not knowing if I could.

Punching above their weight last year a bit, but can they do it again or even go one better this year?

Temporary downswing last year (they hope) and back to winning everything this year, or a more protracted drop off?

(Sigh) My team.  Very young and very expensive including academy pipeline talent cuz paying for that academy is not cheap.  Will get some Champions League seasoning this year too but are they ready for a serious challenge at the top spot?

I looking for "schedule" but I see something that says "Fixtures" that looks like it.  Maybe it's just the vernacular. 

Looks like their 1st game is Sunday at 9AM against some lady named Chelsea, followed by a game next Thursday (at 3PM) against a guy named Frederik.  After competing against these individuals things really start to get weird, as they play against a forest on August 24th.  Then it's back to playing against that dude Frederik again before completing their August schedule by playing against a Villa.

Seems like a really strange sport.

•12 teams, .5 PPR

•Start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1 flex, D/ST, K

•Prefer a couple extra bench spots, maybe 7 or 8

•Top six make the playoffs, top two get first round bye. Weeks 15-16 playoffs and then week 17 final.

•$25 buy in (I’d actually prefer higher but it’s cool if people want to make it lower stakes)

•Preferred platforms are ESPN and Sleeper but also open to Yahoo

•Draft end of August after the preseason

I think he's somewhere between where BJ and Pdx were arguing. He's definitely an exceptional prospect. Chelsea's best player this season when fit. 9 goals and 4 assists in what amount to half a season is an incredible return at 21. That said he's definitely not the best prospect in football - I mean he's older than Mbappe, who's already among the best players in the world. The US NT is looking good for the future - You seem to have a bunch of great prospects all over the Bundesliga. Am not too familiar with MLS. 

Certainly more promising than Ireland. Our two best prospects in the last 10 years switched allegiance to England at senior level. Now we're ****ed lol.
