cooperspick
Since I study games, defenses, weather, and talk with sportsbooks throughout the world to see what side the money is going on I am always curious to see the numbers. Last night was staggering with the majority of people putting their money on the J-E-T-S and Sanchez (against the spread). So I wanted to see if there was a biased opinion here for the Jets when betting on the game or if you believed that the Ravens would come out on top in last nights game. JiFtheOracle
I told this entire board for the whole week that there was literally not chance in hell the Jets would win last night. Guess what? I'm telling you it all again. There is no chane in hell the Jets beat the Pats.
Midget Love 20
I told this entire board for the whole week that there was literally not chance in hell the Jets would win last night. Guess what? I'm telling you it all again. There is no chane in hell the Jets beat the Pats. No Mangold, no chance. I love the Jets and don't think they're the SOJ of our past but, they're a team that's lost it's identity and ability to win in the trenches. This team is still a 10 win team but next week is not going to be pretty either

cooperspick
Glad to see only one response was incredibly biased see the monday night nfl odds for tonight currently have the Total set at 40 down from an opnening of 42 and the Bucs giving up 10 points to the Colts. Looks like the Jets/Pats matchup is set at a total of 50 points and the Jets getting 9-10 points depending on which book you use. Interesting as I think the Jets will put up a good fight ATS in my opinion. When I compiled my nfl picks for the week it initially had the game close in terms of my point system. Than I really studied the game, home field advantage for the ravens and so forth and quickly determined that the Jets really had no chance. Sorry for the diehards but sometimes the question provoked is what is heavier your wallet or your ego?
Jetsfan80
I had the Jets winning 20-17. So I had the Jets and the under. Glad I'm not a betting man.
BroadwayJoe12
I honestly did...right before Nacho threw that pick six.
Il Mostro
I honestly did...right before Nacho threw that pick six. Ditto. Prior to kick-off, I thought a win was highly unlikely (and I am being kind). Prior to the pick six I honestly thought we were coming back. The worm was turning. BUM-KNEE
I thought we would come out fired up and win a bruising game by a FG. But....... I was very wrong.
SoFlaJets
Now I think we can and might just beat New England this week...
slowmoe57
Now I think we can and might just beat New England this week... agree -- I knew we were getting our asses handed to us -- now NE defence not the Ravens Defence -- we can win this week but we need Mangold back. Matt39
The way the defense came out, I thought it'd be close. Then we got the ball.
JerryK
If Mangold is out, we lose to the Pats. If Mangold plays, we win by 14.
flgreen
I did. Worst yet, after the Jets had played one of the worst halfs of football possible, and were still in the game at half time I thought Sanchez was going to pull out one of his 4th quarter heart stoppers. When Maybin got the strip sack at the 22 I knew the Jets were going to win. Then Webb got the pic, and Holmes smiled and waved Bye bye to him.. I knew the O has no heart. With that said I think they are going to beat the Pats. Some people never learn
bitonti
If Mangold is out, we lose to the Pats. If Mangold plays, we win by 14. A healthy Mangold maybe. i dont know that a playing injured Mangold makes that much of a difference did everyone see Mangold trying to get loose before the game? he's was skipping in non contact drills. if he does play next week he won't be 100%

New York Jets 6
seriously thought the jets would rebound and win 20-17 in overtime after the pathetic oakland loss but i guess not

I think we're better off coughing up this game than playing him hurt.
CobraVerde
wasnt surprised which is prolly why im not flippin out....i want to say we can go to NE and win but with the way the Oline is playing i seriously doubt it....we have NO running game, no passing game cause Sanchez doesnt have more than .5 to make a decision. Our defense starts hot but once the offense has more than two 3 and outs you start to see them get tired become ineffective and then get pwned...
