Bugg Posted April 9, 2012 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Caveat-small sample long season. One thing that's beginning to piss me off. Yes, A-Rod is not all thta and a bag of chips. But the leadoff hitter and his steely resolve are not light out either. And NOBODY so far is suggesting that perhaps #2 should not be leading off over Gardner or Nunez. Teams get in to trouble as Jets fans know too well when salary and status dictate how any player is used. And right now that is the case with Jeter, small sample size or not. It'a also way past time for Texiera to eitther take a bit off and got to left or lay down a bunt against the shift. It is not easy but it's killing this team already.
