the MRI was done after the Cavs game

There were TWO MRIs.  There was one taken on Tuesday after the game and 1 done BEFORE the game on Saturday.  Jeesh, you don't need to lie to back up your point.

Well, actually, you do have to lie because your points are baseless.

Melo said he didn’t feel right when he awoke Monday morning, and revealed an MRI exam was taken Saturday with no structural damage found.

Very convenient after the fact....typical of the Knicks. Melo playing 40 minutes, taking his shots, Cavs game comes...he's playing like crap, walks off the floor and now were going to reveal he's actually been hurt. Dude is such a pussy its unreal.

Are you saying that they are lying about having an MRI done on Saturday?

he wouldnt be playing 40 minutes a game like nothing was going on if something was actually up. They administer MRI's for the hell of it?

Knicks camp is Fort Knox, they bend over backward for Carmelo's image....wouldnt surprise me in the slightest.

Answer the question, yes or no...

Why was Melo 100% against Miami? That's what Im going off of. Coincidence he's playing like sh*t and walks off the floor and THEN we learn about this MRI. Put it together. We're going to act like Melo doesnt have a history of pulling this type of stuff?

You still haven't answered the question.  Answer it, you coward.  Are Melo and the Knicks lying about having an MRI on Saturday?

Plus, Melo wasn't 100% against Miami.  He got hit at the end of the first half and hit the floor.  Commentators were talking about his arm, but Melo actually mentioned his knee.

He was a different player in 2nd half of the game after that hit.

You live in your own delusional world of Knick hate and ignore all that.

And, stop with your lying.  Melo doesn't have a "history of pulling this type of stuff."  There is no stuff being pulled here.  Just look at his last 10 games with his shooting % drop but still being asked to play 40 minutes a game.  It was patently obvious to any Knick fan out there that there was something not right with Melo.

Andyeah Melo does have a history of this...remember when he complained about his "hurt" bicep after his 5-24 night right before the ASG. And then the he may not play rumors came out...then all of a sudden he's fine during the game and plays pretty well.

LOL, why don't you answer it.  Yes or no, are they lying about the MRI on Saturday?

I cant say one way or the other, but it definitely wouldnt surprise me if they did. the Knicks have a history of lying about injuries(Rasheed Wallace most recently)

If you dont see how this organization bends over backwards for Melo and his image...then id image youre probably a MSG employee.

LOL, you're unbelievable.  You really think it's possible that the Knicks lied about Melo having an MRI.

The Knicks have undersold injuries, saying a player would be back sooner than they would (STAT, Lin, Rasheed, etc.).  They've never said someone was injured when they weren't and they've never lied about someone having a medical procedure when they didn't.

You're like an aluminum foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist.

Now you've convinced me that you don't watch the game.  Come clean, admit you probably watch a couple of minutes and they just pay attention to the box score.

Otherwise you'd know that in the game you referenced, Melo collided with the Raptor's center very early in the game and got a stinger.  You would know that if you actually watched the game because Bream and Clyde were talking about through the broadcast.  Hahn and Wally talked about it in the postgame as well.

Come on, just admit that you don't watch and it'll explain a lot of your clueless posts.

You're like T0m Shane on steroids.  I've never seen someone hate a team they claim to root for more than you.

The team is 1st in its division, 3rd in the East (out of 2nd by 1/2 game) and on pace for a 50+ win season but every one of your posts in this thread is filled with nothing but hate for the team.

It's comical.  Go watch Hockey or something.

Carmelo Anthony is extremely difficult to root for. Everything questionable he does you have an excuse for. Im sure the Hawes slap when he wasnt looking was perfectly acceptable to you. Or perhaps JR Smith telling a fan he blew his mom on twitter. These are the guys the Knicks chose to put their hopes behind.

So its more plausible that Woodson left Carmelo in the game when Melo told him prior that he was injured?

Melo had an MRI on Saturday so Woodson knew Melo's condition. Facts are never your friend.

Right. So Mike Woodson played the guy who got him on the job when he had already  said he was hurt and wanted to come out of the game. Either that MRI never happened, the MRI revealed nothing or Mike Woodson should be fired. Which one?

(lets be honest, Woodson will be the fall guy either way)

JR Smith is an astoundingly stupid basketball player.

It's odd. In interviews, videos, etc. he speaks knowledgeable about his mechanics, the in-and-outs of plays, strategy, etc. which shows that he has good insight on the game of basketball, but when he gets on the court, like you said, he does some stupid stuff.

It's like he can't translate that knowledge in the heat of the battle.

If only there was a way to merge Prigioni's BBIQ with JR Smith's physical talents and shooting ability (when not chucking)...

You wouldn't even have to worry about the chucking because the Prig BBIQ would cancel that out.

Prig BBIQ + JR physical talent/shooting ability = Dwyane Wade
