Jets pass defense was top 5 this year (unless I'm mistaken) without Revis. I think it depends on how Revis' contract negotiations go and how much it'd cost to keep Wilson around instead of Cro. NJ Posted January 15, 2013 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Kyle - you need to know where the ball is when there's a play in progress and you're trying to play cornerback. You seldom if ever do. That's a big problem and pretty much means you suck. I, personally, also want nothing to do with you returning punts. I'm certain your short career as a return specialist will be earmarked with giving the opposing team good field position as you schwanse enough catch attempts to get fired from that role. Focus on becoming a good ST player ... or perhaps a chef ... telemarketer .. One last observation ... on numerous occasions you have been seen wagging your finger at an opposing receiver after an incomplete pass attempt ... that in and of itself is only mildly annoying. But most every time you do your wagging is after the opposing receiver has gotten behind you and you're clueless to the ball's location ... only an errant throw or a flub has saved you. Quit wagging ... fans ultimately will throw sh!t at you from the stands .... I will if I'm there Just some suggestions as we look forward to a potentially challenging 2013 campaign ... Or the fact that teams might not have been concerned about going to third down against us and ate a lot of clock. Or the desire to have as few turnovers as possible since they could depend on you-know-who to out-turnover them. We had decent corner play and good safety play. But LBs are part of your pass defense and ours are awful at it. I don't care what the stats say. The middle of the field was open all year.
