Like a pumped up Leandro Barbosa.

This is all win for you.

You pump up Mudiay in the hopes that Knicks fans will get excited, knowing all the while that the chances are that Jax will trade the pick.

On the flip side, if the Knicks keep the pick and take Mudiay, you can criticize it as risky and do the pumped up Leandro Barbosa posts (which are funny).

I'm actually just kinda glad that Knicks and Nets fans are conjoined in misery once again.

I did PAWS numbers again. I don't know how current draftexpress was keeping them during the season because they've changed more than they could have in the last three or so games that have happened since I did them last.

tldr: Towns by a mile and then it's kind of a mess. Okafor (could legit fall to 4) and WCS down, Russell (fine at 4 if he's a PG) and Winslow (still not good) up. Hearing lots about Hezonja, not re Knicks specifically. Best guess, if one team ahead of us does something stupid Knicks will be as happy as can be expected barring Towns.

It's comical that Jax tweets that he's "glad" for JR and Shump while wholly ignoring that he got fleeced in that trade and every other trade he's made.

The best are the completely useless trade exceptions that, rather than expire next year, actually expire on draft day.

John Idzik wasn't as bad as Phil Jackson at running a team.

It's Dolan's team.

It's as if the Knicks have entered "The Mike Tyson Zone" because it's been owned by Dolan.

Why couldn't V. Stiviano have been a Knicks fan???

It's just an absurdity at this point. Smug and out of touch and smug about being out of touch. That's Dolan, that's Phil, that's Carmelo. It would be funny if it wasn't so ******* sad.

Monroe makes sense. Easy to see how that one goes sideways. I wonder what will happen when he goes from playing in a front court with Andre Drummond to one with Carnelo Anthony. Winslow seems legit too. That's about the dumbest thing we could realistically do at 4.

1,000,000,000% chance we give Monroe a max deal.

so now I'm down on mudiay. 30% shooter from 3 point land.....

who does that leave ?

Cauley Stein - the smart pick

I didn't know twitter was such an important part of being a gm. Maybe if Idzik retweeted Justin Beiber and Kim Kardashian more we would have made the playoffs last year

Thibedeau out in Chicago. Sadly between the Triangle and Melo, no way the Knicks do such a sensible thing.

True of the Nets as well. No reason for another empty season of Lionel Hollins, but that's what will happen.

Thibodeau is competing for the Pelicans job along with a half dozen other coaches and he's the front runner. No way would he even consider the Knicks we missed that boat 15 years ago when he was the assistant coach.

What Chicago did with Thibs was nuts.  Police escort?  Crazy.

On a side note, I'm really hating these scouting reports on whether a draft prospect fits into the Triangle or not.  Just saw one on Winslow saying he's a "good fit" for the Triangle.  It makes me sick that the media is continue to push this lie about the Triangle.

You know who else is a good fit for the Triangle?  LeBron, Curry, Durant, Westbrook, etc.  It is a proven fact that in the NBA the Triangle has been an unmitigated disaster except where the team had great player or players.  Jax is a senile old fool who thinks the Triangle actually works.  Everyone who has used it has failed, except him, because he had great players.

Don't really see what the outrage is about the media saying Winslow is a fit for the triangle. He absolutely is.

Ofcpurse the triangle looks better when you have good players executing it. So does Belichick's read and react or Ryan's 46 bear.

Such douchey coded language to just say we want more offense. What a tool.

Where's the offense coming from? Rose hurts his vagina rolling out of bed, Thibs maxed out Butler, Noah can't put the ball in the ocean.

Bulls are done. Thibodeau overachieved with thus team for years amazing how much of a tool Reinsdorf is he did this same crap with Jordan.
