Integrity28 Posted January 3, 2015 Share Posted January 3, 2015 I think this Arizona / Carolina game feature two of the better coaching stories in the league this year. Bowles kept that Arizona defense playing great, despite injury after injury. Arians is finding ways to win with even more decimating injuries at QB and RB. Meanwhile, the Panthers pretty much rebuilt their entire secondary in the middle of the season, which is sort of unheard of to the extent they had to do it, and in turn they turned their defense around and put themselves in the playoffs... not to mention Cam getting in a car wreck and coming back like a new man, after playing pretty mediocre football all season. Gotta give some love to Jonathan Stewart playing the best football of his career out-of-nowhere. Not the sexiest game on the schedule this weekend, but a game that features two teams that rallied around each other and found a way. It was that play against us in the 2009 playoffs where he completely whiffed tackling Shonn Greene on that long TD run that hurt his rep a lot and added to the "soft" bit. Not the most physical player, but a great cover guy with ball skills (which is the most important part of being a CB, right?). And a great locker room guy.
