JetNation
According to the team’s official web site, the New York Jets have filled safety Doug Middleton’s roster spot by adding wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, who has had a couple of stints with the team in the past as both a player (2015) and as a camp invite this past off-season. Thompkins will join a crowded receiver room as an underdog to stick, but with so little experience in the Jets current group, it would be premature to rule it out. rangerous
thomkins is not a bad receivers. imo this is a good pick up. even if he doesn't stick he still should be able to push the current receivers a bit.

bealeb319
This guy isn't a bad depth receiver probably better then anyone healthy on our roster whose name is not Anderson. I think Peake will come along this season too but I defiantly don't hate the signing.Sent from my LGUS991 using JetNation.com mobile app

the Claw
Yeah, I dunno about this. He was never exactly mister dependable. Maybe the drops will improve knowing this guy could make the team. Kenbrell v Jalin -loser goes home?
Jetster
He's signed for depth. Instead of constantly BUYING or trading for malcontentents at the WR shop, let's try to develop a few like we developed Q (his unfortunate injury aside). We have Anderson, Stewart, Peake, Hansen. Now if next offseason you told me the Jets finally went free agency for a player like Deandre Hopkins? I have no problem with it. We should have enough money for a couple young stud free agents if they don't resign with their current teams.

Agree, considering the depletion we face, not a bad idea...
