Telling you..heard it here first in the surprises thread. Hansen is gonna pop on to the scene like Anderson did last year. It's happening.

Agreed! I could tell early in training camp that Anderson was going to be good. I feel the same about Hansen.

This offense is going to be much better than most expect. Better Oline, better WRs, better group of QBs and I think the Herndon/Sterling/Leggett/Walford group will eventually produce a TE equal to, if not better, than the 357 and 3Tds that ASJ produced last year.

I can't see him getting enough snaps to do that unless QE doesn't last long or he beats out Kearse. He certainly won't play over Robby.

Maybe he winds up with what... 25 receptions for the year?

The way it’s looking Hansen could be the #3 option behind Kearse. So depending on the situation and how many 4 WR sets we deploy..he could see a lot more time than most think. Pryor may not even make the team

OK I realize that the narrative will be to start Bridgewater, and that its only against air, but what I have noticed is that in these videos Darnold consistently throws absolutely perfect passes. I mean perfect.

He lobbed two beautiful deep throws to Robby today with coverage...just excellent ball placement too. Was a “WOW” moment.

Kearse is a placeholder and if the Anderson/enunwa/Pryor/Hanson group emerge then he's a candidate for trade/release. Very solid player but I doubt he's in their long term plans.

It's nice to finally have too much talent...

I don’t think Pryor takes Kearses job. He’s already hurt his ankle again and he won’t be ready for training camp.

Kearse was excellent last year, much much more than a placeholder. and hes not really old yet.

Meanwhile Jalen Saunders is in Tulsa, working the register at the local Dairy Queen.

During April 2017, Saunders participated in The Spring League, a startup developmental league who operates as a showcase for NFL and CFL scouts. Saunders was one of several Spring League players who signed with professional teams later in the year; in Saunders' case he signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League. Despite being released after the preseason, Saunders was assigned to the Hamilton practice roster. After two weeks, Saunders was promoted to the active roster to take the place of star receiver Terrence Toliver, who suffered a torn ACL during Hamilton's opening game of the 2017 season. During his CFL debut on July 8, Saunders recorded 6 catches for 78 yards, making him the most productive receiver for the Ticats. Saunders also had one rush for a single yard in a losing effort against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Saunders topped his performance the following week, again serving as Hamilton's most productive receiver by catching 5 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the British Columbia Lions.[9] In later weeks, Saunders was also used as a return specialist. During the 16 games he played in, Sanders made 76 catches for 1170 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Kearse goes nowhere Anderson is 1 infraction away from a long suspension, Hansen is a super star in shorts and tees, Pryor injured.

Kearse emerges as an integral part of the WR corps here.
