Popular Post Dcat
As I posted in another thread, I am having doubts about attending games (assuming by September things calm down and there are games) even if the NFL feels it will be safe by that point. The Jets charge my credit card every month for the cost of my annual season tickets. 3 payments so far in 2020. 1. I have zero confidence that there will be attended games this fall 2. Even if the NFL proceeds, I probably don't want to attend because of the Covid-19 risks, even if they are significantly minimized by then. 3. I have 3 fully paid PSLs in a premium section and per the contract, if I don't make my annual payments for tickets, then I lose my Season Ticket rights and the Jets can revoke my PSLs without any refund. In addition, I am home since my job has mostly shut down, and the income this year will be a train wreck. So I called the Jets this morning and informed them that I want to retain my Season Ticket Rights, retain my PSLs, and stop paying the monthly charge now for 2020 tickets. I want the right to decide NOT to attend in 2020 WITHOUT losing my PSLs or suffering any penalty. In other words, I want my account put on hold and the right to renew it all for 2021 and all because of the Covid-19 situation. Now having dealt with this mess of an organization for over 40 years, I anticipated the typical NY Jets response, which has been almost always bad and not fan-friendly. To my surprise, the Jets listened and are refunding all three of the 2020 payments so far and advised that even though it is uncertain what the state of affairs will be come September, that what I'm asking at this point sounds ok (unofficially). Bravo, NY Jets. tip of the hat to the Jets for this. I feel more at ease and morecomfortable now, and won't have expensive monthly NY Jets charges this year until I decide if I want to attend or not. Thank You. Other season ticket holders who share my worries and want to stop the monthly payments now, just call the Jets. They are all working from home and they will call you back. -Dcat 5
DJF71
I'm hoping they just cancel the season for 3 years and then maybe we will have built an OL.

Lupz27
I sold my Psl’s about 2 weeks ago basically because I refused to start paying for the 2020 season in December of 2019, I had one more week until they said my Psl’s would be in default and I’d forfeit them. Glad I sold them now after this Coronavirus fiasco.

They would have lost more in lawsuits than the damn team is worth if they didn't. Doubt this was altruistic. They have broken me going into my 41st year of tix. Flushing Roots
Hope everyone on this site is well and I sure hope this all ends by OD. It will end, it's just a matter of when. I'm speculating some social distancing STHs may give up their tix creating opportunities for those that want to upgrade. I am always looking for one and I am All In with my team for the long haul. Have to believe anyone looking to get in now for the long term will get some PSL bargains on the secondary market. Looking forward to when this mess is over and wish all of Jet Nation the best getting through this.

Well I'm not giving up my PSLs, but I'm sure my 3 seats will be on re-sale for 2020 by the Jets, cause I ain't paying them for them and I dare them to try to revoke my fully paid PSLs. We'll see what the court says if it comes to that. Frankly, I don't think we will be seeing a normal season and it won't start until October or later if we do have a season at all. We can’t possibly know this yet. Culture changed: Remains to be seen. 6-2 bounceback: Against the worst teams in the NFL. 5-3 home record: Not impressive. Division opponents weakened: Bills and fins only getting better, pats always a threat. Runaway to win division: You just can’t guarantee that.
