I think some people see that that JD used his 1st round pick last year on Becton, signed guys like McGovern, Fant, GVR, etc. and then didn't see the Jets do anything meaningful on the OLine in FA. They then say, "hmm... Jets poured picks and money into OL last year. They didn't do anything in FA this year.... I think they're done with the OL for a little bit." What they don't see is that OL is still an extremely high priority for JD and that although the Jets didn't sign anyone (ignore Feeney) it wasn't for a lack of trying. JD is value conscious as we all know, and this is a Draft pretty loaded with OL talent. He'll use at least one of those two picks at 23 and 34 on OLine. That two Safety draft turned into two more 1st rounders and a very good Safety. It was awful at the time, but turned out pretty well if you don't count the fact that we passed on Mahomes. Not only did we pass on Mahomes and several other elite talents in the 1st, we also passed on the likes of Dalvin Cook and Alvin Kamara in Rd 2.
