Guess you forgot 8-8 when dense headed Parcells stuck with Mirer and pissed the season away.  Masterful job.   Or how he went 3-12-1 with his first Giants team, that was 4-5 the year before? The  5-11 with his first NE team?  6-10 with his first Dallas team, that went 10-6 the year before?

All of this could have been accomplished while staying competitive at the same time...the only real difference would have been drafting a QB in the teens instead of 2nd overall.... which may have been a blessing in disguise.   If WIlson doesn't turn out to be a top 10 QB these years were just a colossal waste of time the likes of which have never been seen.   I mean didn't the last two expansion teams make the playoffs their second year in existence? lol
