Popular Post T0mShane
Love when a billion dollar sport has its announcers showing you multiple replays of the ref getting a call dead wrong and the crowd sees it’s wrong on the giant TV over the field but the five clowns on the field who presumably ref the game are trapped in technology-free alternate realities and have to rely on their old, wheezing, compromised eye sockets to decide the outcomes of games where literal billions are on the line and everyone just kinda goes “welp, nothing we can do about this” 5

Popular Post PS17
Stroud is just insane. Most advanced rookie QB I’ve seen by a substantial margin. Herbert is the only one who compares in recent memory. 5
Beerfish
The jets beat Buffalo, were ripped off from beating KC, beat the Eagles, whipped Houston, Beat Denver. (shakes head sadly)

Yes, well put, there have been a lot of rookie QBs with he arm or legs and such but not many that look like seasoned vets with the kind of pocket preciseness he has. Prodigal Syndicate
That's such an enormously stupid play call. Season on the line..1 yard. Taylor with 188 yards and 6.3 ypc on the day. Running at will. You throw to a back up RB with 6 catches on the season.

T0mShane
Rough to draw up your must-have play for a back with six catches on the season. I know that Taylor isn’t a great receiver, but come on now

And yet another reason why Douglas should be fired. Texans managed to turn around their franchise in the space of a couple of years. We are no closer to reaching the playoffs now than when we did when Douglas was hired. 1

That was a horrendous throw but of course the QB gets a pass. Minshew was horrible all game,

You don’t have to run full speed on that type of route because of the angle the ball is coming at you. He made it a lot harder than it had to be. If that ball is in front of him instead of behind him it’s clearly a first down and probably a TD. The play worked, the QB(and to a lesser extent the RB) didn’t make the play

He's a borderline starter in the league. Bad throw yes. But he had a pretty good season.

Just not a guy you want starting for the long term… way too limited.
