SEATTLE: RB Jess Lumsden,

Most of you have prob never heard of this guy, but his name is well known up here.

He was last year's Canadian college football player of the year (you may roll your eyes now!!)

The kid is 6'2 - 225 and runs a 4.45 - 4.5 40

His dad was a star CFL running back for years.

Never know, he just might make some noise down there.

Thanks for that piece of info vandoug. I read where the Canadian Football League is holding its draft soon and him and O/L Kaczur from Toledo might have been one of the top choices in that draft

Just some names that stood out to me. Some random thoughts around the league.

Arizona did a good job. TE Adam Bergen's agent did a great job. Cards have a couple of openings at TE with the loss of Freddie Jones and only Lorenzo Diamond and Eric Edwards on the depth chart. Ernest Shazor could be a very good special teams player out the gate. The guy can tackle and is a big hitter. Sounds like he will stay at SS.

Carolina also did a great job. I think that as a slot WR, Taylor Stubblefield has a chance to stick especially in Dan Henning's offense. Remember Henning was with us when Chrebet was in top form. Taylor might end up being the same kind of player. Also like DT Lorenzo Alexander and LB Marcus Lawrence.

Ben Wilkerson to The Bengals was a good move. Their C position is wide open.

Ohio State D-Lineman Simon Fraser might be a nice fit with The Browns 3-4. I also liked The James King signing. King is a player who blocked 13 kicks in college, he also plays LB and S. We know that Romeo likes those versatile players.

Brandon Browner made a huge mistake coming out so early. Should have stayed in school but Denver might have something in him.

TE Garrett Cross from Cal reunites with best friend Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. They both played at junior college together before transfering to Cal.

I like Miami's signings of RB Kay Jay Harris, WR Josh Davis and CB Shirdonya Mitchell. Mitchell might be this years version of Randall Gay.

Like The Vikings signing of Clemson DT Eric Coleman. Coleman is one of the guys who failed his drug test. Might have been drafted if not for that.

Love Kyle Eckel with The Pats. I think he can make that team. I watched alot of Eckel in college and he is very Alstott like. High character kid with alot of toughness.

Giants did a good job too. I like James Butler and Diamond Ferri. Ferri is a versatile player. I also liked their pickup of Derek Wake. Wake is a tremendous athlete and has some upside.

Houston made a nice move signing Arizona State CB Chris McKenzie. He went undrafted because he's 5'8 but he has a 45 inch vertical leap and 4.3 speed. Also was coached by former NFL DB Mark Carrier. McKenzie was one of the strongest players at the combine at his position despite only being 5'8. Kid went 5 games without allowing a single reception by an opposing WR last year.

Jets best signings were OL Mike King and LB John Pickens.

Philly got two interesting players in jumbo WR Chauncey Stovall (6'1 225) and CB Aric Williams.

I liked The Steelers choices at LB. Andre Frazier, Ronald Stanley and Arnold Harrison. perfect 3-4 players.

Tennessee signed every college player they could gobble up. RB Walter Reyes is interesting.

3 Safeties that I like, Jammal Brimmer with Seattle, Alex Green with Washington and LB/S Matt Grootegoed with Tampa.

Shocked that DB Junior Rosegreen doesn't have a home yet.

Cards seem to have the same problem as the Jets.

Well, as it stands right now, didn't the Jets starter beat the Pats last year? Keep in mind, Jay Fiedler is the starter, if the season was to start today.

Just for the off the record record, I'd be more inclined to rip on Chad, but the reasons you have are such easy targets. Target his freakin college. Marshall university. It's Florida State north. Nothing but felons, hicks, inbred punks and losers. Marshall sucks. It's Felon State north. Bunch of crooks.
