Bob
If the season ended today the Yankees wouldn't make the playoffs. I don't play the "what-if" game. I'm just sayin'.
Thor99
Love the fact these Sawx Pukes are feeling so giddy today It's a nice feeling. I really haven't had it since October of '04. Glad it's back.
PFSIKH
Love the fact these Sawx Pukes are feeling so giddy today Damm, Yankee Nation is a tad testy. I am sure Hughes was part of the master plan this year. Like, calling him up in September to get some time on the big club. Going with him since, April/May in addition to the Rog-ah signing is an act of things are not going as planned.
CrazyCarl40
Sawx will have a difficult time with all of those games Love the fact these Sawx Pukes are feeling so giddy today JonE, We've been "giddy" all year. That happens when you have the best pitching and the best record in all of baseball almost wire to wire.

Sharrow
Not that it really matters, but shouldn't the statement be "If the Yankees want the East"? Because the Sox already have it. Or do the yankees still have it from winning it last season?

Thor99
Red Sox 5-1 Yankees 2-3 Thanks JonE!! Those White Sox games were some white knucklers. I'm glad the Red Sox were able to squeak by.
Thai Jet
Those White Sox games were some white knucklers. I'm glad the Red Sox were able to squeak by. Yup it's winning those close, tight games during the late stages of the season than defines a champion.
