Just a two weeks after hosting free agent running back Stevan Ridley, the Jets have reportedly met with another familiar face.

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Jets have hosted one of their former receivers in Kenbrell Thompkins who has not played a down in the NFL since the team’s week 17 loss at Buffalo two years ago.

Having recently placed wide receiver Devin Smith on injured reserve after waiving him, the team is apparently keeping all options open to fill out their roster with training camp just a couple of months away.

Guys this could actually be a good thing that Mac seems obsessed with WRS. Maybe he wants to give his young QBS the most and best possible weapons to use, meaning that despite the moron HC, this will actually be a real QB competition in TC?

Well, let's see.  He's looking to move in a young inexperienced QB, (either Petty or Hack), so he takes a look at a RB, (Ridley),  who was noted for his pass blocking.   Then looks at an experienced WR in Thompkins.  Why not?
