Jet-T's
However, 2 former Gator Players just got NBA Championship Rings: Mike (the 3 pt King) Miller and U-D (Haslim) got his 2nd with the Heat.

BleedinGreenNC
Lebron is a stat machine, but he doesnt belong in the same conversation as Russell, Jordan or Kobe. I have much more respect for Wade.
PFSIKH
Close enough when he is playing for the Knick's in two years. Book it. A scientist told me so it must be true. Why would he leave Miami for that disaster in NY? NY can offer nothing he does not already have. In fact, it would cost him money (i.e. taxes) to go there. Out of these three players which one has been labeled as unselfish to a fault? All three are stat machines. Only difference, Lebron is not selfish like the other two. PFSIKH
But Jordan and Kobe have the titles to back up their selfishness, to put him in the same category as those 2 is ludacris. To compare players that are/were 33 (Kobe-5 titles) and 34 (Jordan-6 titles) to a player that is 27 is ludicrous. I love Luda also, but using him as word is wrong. At a similar point in their careers, that is 27yo, Kobe had 3 rings and LeBron and Michael had 1. So he does compare at a similar point in their respective careers. Seeing no one in the East is on their level, sorry Chicago. And the team they just man-handled, sorry OKC, is the best thing in the West. They are about to start a Chicago like run. As long as LeBron does not get suspended for gambling.....err takes a stab at baseball like Jordan, he should easily have 5 titles by the time he is 33 or 34. HessStation
Jordan would have EIGHT rings to his name if he didn't go play baseball and then retire too early in 99.

gangreenman
But Jordan and Kobe have the titles to back up their selfishness, to put him in the same category as those 2 is ludacris. LOL on so many different levels. First and foremost, Robert Horry has 7 rings, Derek Fisher has 5... Why aren't they in the conversation? Judging how good a player is based on the # of rings he has is just stupid. Basketball is a team game, and even if a team has the best individual player to ever play the game on their team, they will most often lose to a team with 3 or 4 other HOF'ers. The NBA is different than the NFL/MLB. Teams that win the finals in the NBA are always attacked with at least 1 or 2 HOFers, and those 1 or 2 are usually surrounded by 2 or 3 all stars. The Lakers, the Celtics, the Bulls, the Spurs, the Mavs, etc. etc. Lebron should not be faulted for wanting to give himself a shot at some rings by joining with other great players, (who weren't coming to CLE)... PatriotReign37
Umm, the Red Sox come to mind. They just decide to hire a joke like Bobby Valentine And, the Yankees have the highest payroll every season. They go out and buy players before the trade deadline that another team could use just so they cannot get them. Until the playing field is level MLB is a joke.
