In 2010 he had #1 ranked D in SD and played in weak division. Rivers has been surrounded w/ much more talent than we have had and only made it as far as one AFC title game and his backup led the GW Td in Indy the week before. still would take Rivers in a heartbeat because at least he give you the chance to compete in the playoffs. of course I'd take Rivers over geno or Fitz but I wouldn't want to break the bank for a guy that has proven he cannot get it done in big spots. The ONLY reason these old guys are able to continue to play so long is Goodells f*cking touch football NFL! Olines with playoff QBs are able to hold all game long with the obligatory holding call here & there when they are up by 2 TDs. The sh*tty QBs get NO CALLS! How many times did we see Sanchez get whacked like the time Von Miller hit him 2 seconds after the ball was gone or when the defender went low on Geno last year RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF & he didn't even notice it. Winning football games in the NFL EVEN WITH an average QB is incredibly hard! When the 49ers were getting to NFC championships with Harbaugh, their defense was kickazz & Kap was running around like a maniac. The Jets with Sanchez, defense & the best Oline in football got them there. As long as Goodell & his cronies keep changing the game to benefit the likes of Brady, Manning, and the rest of the elite QBs, teams like ours have ZERO chance of winning a Super Bowl. Wilson's another guy that is so unorthodox the refs can't manipulate the game. His incredible running negates anything that happens along the LOS.
