What has gone relatively unnoticed is that Patriots didn't cut ANY of their RBs... I was hoping the Jets grabbed the one the shakes loose. 5 RBs and a full back is fairly unusual for a team, especially since they have kept 7 WRs as well. I wonder if they are going to do some trickery where they cut one around Friday to sign to PS on Saturday or something like that.

Or since they only have 8 OL and 2 TEs that they will just wait till week 5 when Watson comes back to cut one.

The Jets probably reached an injury settlement with him. He was waived/injured so he reverted to IR when he cleared waivers. He probably wants a chance to play again this year, so reached an injury settlement with the Jets and was released from IR.

The listing Montgomery as a WR/KR, where does that come from? The Jets? I know his number (88) is a traditional WR # but I’ve seen him as RB2 on every depth chart.
