Warfish
One of the things my (Phins Fan) brother told me when we hired Gase: "He doesn't use the TE as a passing threat". I never bothered to look it up to confirm, but it certainly feels like TE isn't a focus in the Gase system Runs up the middle over and over, and short passes in the -2 to 5 yard range seem to be the core of what the Gase system wants to do IMO.
Barry McCockinner
Our TE's had pretty good production last year.
Integrity28
We have 3 viable TE targets, and no WRs, do this actually makes sense.

Bleedin Green
I mean, nearly everyone who has played for Gase has seen greater success both before and after their time with him, than they ever had with him. It's pretty much the one thing he's been reliable for throughout his non-Peyton coaching career.
jetscrazey
Gase is going to ruin this whole offense if he stays until year-end.

There is a lot more nuggets in that thread but it's from a different board and I don't want to post it here. It's hard to paste but everything bolded was my posts. Damn I miss HN? His name is Adam Breneman he's 6'4 252 and has good speed and is a decent blocker. He had 70 REC, 808 YDS, and 8 TDs this year. The guy I mentioned is a Heath Miller clone. He can do it all with a great catch radius, also owns every PSU record for a TE with terrific size.

It's almost like Gase isn't great? 2

It's almost like Gase isn't great? Well, let’s not jump to any conclusions. He’s 6-4 in his last 10 games
