New plan

Recommended Posts

Sign Galladay and Ju Ju. Trade down and draft Pitts. Trade or release Crowder. At 23 take Harris. Then draft o line with the next couple pics. Finish out FA with Edge and CB. Ride with Sam until next year when we have 3 1st rounders after this years trade back.

No. Draft QB. Draft OL. Draft OL. Draft OL. Draft OL.

This.

Whatever flexibility we had in the draft at 23 is out the window. We're taking a guard. May need to double dip on o-line at 34. We are damn sure not drafting a tight end after today.

What did crowder do to people? He was the most consistent player by far on a really, sh*tty team.

Best player on the offense along with Becton.

The only thing we've done well the past two years is subtract talent (Robby Anderson, Jamal Adams, etc.) and accumulate money and draft picks (that weren't used all that well last year).  Shedding more talent isn't the way to make this team better.

Nothing he’s just a ridiculously over paid slot receiver, who’s heading to 30 fast.

Nothing. But Ju Ju will be new slot. Galladay and Mims on the outside. Harris at RB and Pitts at TE. Draft o lineman with both 2nds this year after the trade back and next year we’d have 3 firsts.

Nothing. Solid player. Our best on offense sadly. But Ju Ju will play slot in this plan and we save a nice chunk getting rid of Crowder.

Wake me up when we are competitive again in 2035. Who’s throwing the ball Sam Darnold?

Trade Darnold. He deserved better then this sh*t show....why should he suffer just because we have to? After today i'd also draft Lance...we need someone who can run for his life a bit better then the 6'1 mormon.

Trade back - get picks - take Lance - sit Lance for a year - trade Darnold  - get picks - trade Crowder - get picks - resign Flacco - go 1-15 - trade back in 2022 a get picks - sense a pattern?

it seems clear that without a much better team we won’t be a preferred destination for top shelf players who have multiple suitors - we led ourselves to believe that cash was king and it is but if better teams can offer comparable contracts we swing and miss - shouldn’t be surprised really - i’m all in on trading out of 2 - as far back as we can go to acquire as many additional 1st 2nd 3rd round picks as possible - draft offensive line draft receivers draft rb - make this team desirable for free agents - keep sam one more year and if he shows great improvement under qb friendly system we’re good to go - if not then having ( probably) three number 1’s next year will allow us to draft a new qb - we need talent to compete - add a new young qb with no line etc and you end up with a ruined qb- rinse and repeat rinse and repeat no thanks - do this right for once and value of that 2nd pick puts us in position to finally get out of jets hell
